		<description>As I dabble back and forth in documentaries and narratives, I couldn&#039;t agree more.  If I want to see reality, I&#039;ll go make a documentary.  I&#039;m in love with films that transport, that throw you headfirst into a new world (the same could apply to documentaries - I always try to use narrative storytelling techniques and &quot;cinematic&quot; elements).  The first two that spring to mind are Powell &amp; Pressburger&#039;s &quot;The Red Shoes,&quot; and Wong Kar-Wai&#039;s &quot;In the Mood For Love&quot; (in addition to the excellent choices mentioned by our daring damsels of discourse above). Beautiful pieces of film that transport.  They create a world, and for just a few hours, you&#039;re part of it.  They makes no excuses.  &quot;This is our world.  Watch.  Live or leave.&quot;
