California Dreamin’ + Updates
2010 April 11
This week we’re writing-writing-writing (Hel-LO, TILT!), but here are some exciting things that are coming up for King is a Fink:
- We’re going back to Cali. Julie & Jessica are headed west this summer. Jessica’s presenting at a Critical Thinking conference in Berkley, then we’re headed down to LA to meet up with some friends. Our LA trip will include a 7/25 interview on LA Talk Radio’s Film Courage program hosted by our good friends David Branin and Karen Worden. Can’t wait to see who else we might meet up with. Be scared, Nathan Cole (“The Waterhole“), Zak Forsman & Kevin Shah (Sabi Pictures), Adam Bronstein (“My Movie Girl“), Joke and Biagio (Producing in Hollywood), Andretti Dante (“Book of 1000 Deaths“) Angelo Bell (“Black Lotus“) , Merrel Davis (Screenwriter Karaoke), etc. Be very scared.
- Anxiety Acres and Libidoland are still hot on the film festival circuit.
April 17, 2010 – ANXIETY ACRES at the Bare Bones Film Festival.
May 2010 – LIBIDOLAND is on tour with Cinekink in Las Vegas!
June 2010 – LIBIDOLAND at the Seattle Truly Independent Film Festival.
Where could they possibly end up next?
- New Kfink Swag! There are some new King is a Fink items available through CafePress. In addition to the beautiful SNOW BUNNY poster, you can buy a fancy (and eco-friendly) King is a Fink tote bag, a tasty t-shirt, and a stately mug to keep you company during those pesky all-nighters. Support indie film – buy some Kfink gear today!

Whew! I thought you were movin west without’us!!
your trip sounds fun! I’m jealous. I love LA. I wanna move out there–but even more expensive! Can’t wait to hear about your adventures!
Farrin – We wouldn’t just up and leave without telling. We’re hoping to have a lot of fun and meet a lot of great people. And we will definitely keep you posted.
Geez, I can’t keep up with you gals. Pretty soon you’ll be heading down under and I’ll be very, very scared. Cali sounds damn exciting… Woo Hoo!
All the very best with TILTing and the film fest circuit. Be rootin’ for ya!
Thank you, Karen. Your support over the last 6 months has really boosted us to new heights. Don’t think we’ve forgotten about you…if we can get into an Aussie film fest, we’ll find a way to get there!
Oh, I’m very afraid. Very, very afraid. I’ll be recovering from Comic-con that week. Hope to see you!
