SYNOPSIS: Molly wants the rest of the world to fuck off. She’s single and fine with it, but no one else will stop talking about it. Her parents pity her. Her sister mocks her. She wouldn’t hang out with any of them if it wasn’t for her sister’s stupid wedding. Molly decides the key to surviving the event is to keep her wine glass full and her best friend Trisha at her side. When Trisha ditches Molly for a guy she just met, Molly feels more alone than she’s ever felt – until the following morning when Trisha turns up dead.

Police say it’s suicide, but Molly’s geeky, death-obsessed cousin Derrick suspects something much darker: a serial killer. At first Molly finds Derrick’s theory ghoulish, but it slowly dawns on her that if there was indeed a serial killer involved, he passed her up for Trisha…and this makes her blood boil. Molly immediately decides to drag Derrick to Las Vegas to follow a possible lead. Jamie and other family members follow, looking for fun and unaware of the mission.

Once in Vegas, Molly transforms herself into serial killer bait with the help of her oblivious sister. After some very unconventional research and a few unsuccessful attempts at sleuthing, Molly is distracted by a handsome stranger, leaving Derrick to search for clues on his own. A chance encounter brings Molly’s sister and Molly’s suitor together, and once more Molly is rejected in favor of a younger, prettier girl. Furious at being passed by yet again, Molly fights for her spot on the suitor’s dance card and is forced to consider if getting picked for Something is worth losing Everything.
